| Bio | Dr. John Jay Harper is a clinical hypnotherapist in Spokane, Washington and the director of a non-profit educational research corporation, the American Delphi Academy. He has written a new book, Tranceformers: Shamans of the 21st Century, that integrates the near-death experience within the framework of both science and religion; specifically it is a theory on the operation of cosmic consciousness itself. His background includes not only years of schooling in psychology and theology but over 20 years working on "Top Secret" computer science and electronics engineering projects with the US Department of Defense. Indeed, he defines himself as a "Renaissance man with a kangaroo mind!" His passion is learning not only about life but life hereafter. However, this was not always the case. John says his inspiration did not come out of curiosity but out of necessity. That is, he came "face-to-face" with a "deceased" physicist colleague one morning in June 1988, and that trauma is what changed him from skeptic to mystic. It was that "close encounter of a spiritual kind" with the land of the "dead"--and the myriad questions that it generated - that relentlessly drove him for over a decade to solve the riddle to the life-after-death conundrum through a physics of metaphysics: The Theory of the Fifth Dimension. |
